Susan Njoki, (31), a Kenyan national, was caught with 1.5 kg of heroin while trying to fly to Shanghai in Thai Airways (TG 326) from Bangalore International Airport.u00a0

The seized drug is worth Rs 5 crore in the international market.

Police found the residue of the heroin while her registered baggage was undergoing checking.

Preliminary probe has revealed she had received the consignment in Delhi and was supposed to hand it over to someone in Shanghai.

Police suspect her to be a carrier in the international drug racket and are investigating her local links.
